Our mission as the church is to serve in the power of the Holy Spirit.   This happens when we grow in faith (2 Peter 1).  We grow through our worship, word, and prayer.  Worship, our corporate time together.  Prayer, our intimacy in seeking out the God's will.  Word, our allowing the God's scriptures to shape us both in our private times in God's word, and our group gatherings studying God's word together...discipleship.   To be an effective servant or volunteer for the God's Kingdom, we must must allow all three...worship, word, and prayer shape us, and point us to Christ.
